ABSTRACT

College education is the main mode of modern acupuncture-moxibustion talent training in China. In this paper, the acupuncture-moxibstion education modes in the early years after the founding of the Peoples' Republic of China, dominated as the Chinese medicine advanced school and the training course of Chinese medicine for the western medicine physicians, were collected as well as the transformation into normalized institution education ones. As a result, the formation and the improvement process of modern acupuncture-moxibustion education mode are reflected and their significance on the discipline development is explored.

ABSTRACT

At present,the 'Internet+' learning model is rapidly integrated with learning and work,which makes the teaching of clinical pathology in primary traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)hospitals change rapidly in the new era.With rich network resources and convenient electronic information equipment,staff of clinical pathology has set to reform the teaching concept and innovate the learning model.In this paper,innovative learning models such as TCBIL,PSBIL,TTBIL,TLBIL,WPBIL that can meet the demands of clinical pathology teaching and work in primary TCM hospitals have been summarized after long-term observation and researches through a large number of literature review as well as clinical teaching practice and thinking.This paper aims to provide assistance to the development of the department of pathology in the primary TCM hospitals,meanwhile,offer beneficial exploration to the construction of 'Internet+' integrated medical education with Chinese characteristic in the new era and the education of TCM.Besides,this paper puts forward clear concepts of integrated learning model based on the analysis of the case of the Department of Pathology,Yongchuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Chongqing Medical University and discuss the inherent characteristics and laws of learning model reform.

With the globalisation of Chinese medicine (CM), the local CM education institutions were established in many other countries outside of China. These CM education institutions have formed a new mode in CM education after integrating with local culture, law and national conditions. This article takes New Zealand CM education institutions as an example to discuss the characteristics of CM education under the British education system, aiming to provide ideas on CM education in China and other countries.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the score changes of graduates majoring in clinical medicine after using the method of “role of identification”. Methods Sixty students who were undertaking internship in Endocrinology Department of Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital received three-week clinical teaching and examination. Then they got into one-week “role of identification”, and were appointed as clinical teachers to teach what they have learned during the last 3 weeks to the next batch of interns and make another examination. Scores of the two examinations were compared. Results Scores of the examination after received the method in“role of identification”improved significantly (P<0.01). Conclusion The method of“role of identification”can enhance clinical medicine graduates’ mastery of professional knowledge.

ABSTRACT

In the new economic situation for the new requirements for traditional Chinese medicine innovation talents cultivation, in view of the relevant medical education at home and abroad experience and many years of exploration in our school, we suggest that in the curriculum construction and development of the national institutions of higher learning of Chinese medicine, the experiment teaching of traditional Chinese medicine should be extended by popularizing college students' exploring experiment and innovative experiment and establishing the combined mechanism between the excel-lent students and excellent teachers. We also put emphasis on developing five abilities, which include the ability of structuring own knowledge system, the ability of acquiring useful knowledge and aban-doning other, the ability of logical reasoning and critical thinking skills, the ability of professional in-terest and innovation, and the ability of expressing themselves and communication skills.

ABSTRACT

Objective By finding out the Chinese official pharmacy talent training and education model in Sui and Tang dynasties,we can used it in the cultivation of contemporary talents in pharmacy.Methods pharmacy education in CNKI,Sui and Tang history books,Chinese herbal medicine and legal literature were collected and categorized in training organizations,education and evaluation three aspects.Results In the Sui and Tang dynasties,pharmacy institutions included imperial pharmacies,drug possession Bureau and the Department of imperial medicine disciplines.Meanwhile,there were relevant regulations in education,teaching and quality assessment.According to the traditional theory,practice and correlation characteristics,focusing on the connection of clinical pharmacy practice courses and lessons,the government trained a large number of professional talents in pharmacy.Conclusion In the Sui and Tang dynasties,Chinese material medical attaches great importance to the comprehensive quality of talents cultivation,which is worthy for modern reference.

ABSTRACT

The training model of high level Chinese Medicine Talents has been the focus of debate in Chinese Medicine over the years.Through reviewing the history of high level Chinese Medicine Talents training in China since 1949,we have summarized the characteristics and analyzed the deep level problems impacting the quality of talents training.The strategies which we have proposed in this study will have high significance not only in the theory but in a realistic sense.
